It was my first time using this garage and it was a pleasure to deal with both the young ladies in the office. I was called before any work was carried out to my vehicle and kept updated. I would definitely use them again.
A very impressive and user friendly business indeed. We are new to the area and are still establishing our favourite places to serve our needs. Rudheath mot centre is our car service provider of choice. Every time I have been there I've been delighted with the experience.

Are there any decent trustworthy garages out there? NO! Rudheath was recommended on our village Facebook page (to which I will now be avoiding) for a decent garage to use in the area, but yet again its disappointment on my search for that trustworthy, transparent garage. Whilst on the phone booking a diagnostics, I explained the issue and the guy on the other end agreed a diagnostics is required to establish whether the issue is electrical or not, because if it is electrical Rudheath can't fix, but if they can fix it they will, also do its MOT and Service as they are due before xmas. They agreed to call me before going ahead with any work.(How wonderful I thought, a garage calling you before doing any work, it's unheard of. This could be the garage I've been searching for?) Drop my car off. Get a call a few hours later to say that it has failed its MOT due to an electrical issue, the same electrical issue I asked them to diagnose before doing the MOT? (Where was my call??) I requested the diagnostics be done before the MOT because if they can't fix the issue what is the point of doing the MOT, I might as well take it somewhere that can and just pay them for the diagnostics. So, now I'm left with a deadline I didn't ask for, where I have 10 days to get the electrical problem fixed otherwise I have to pay another £50 for an MOT, which I'm definitely going to have to do as the garage going to look at the electrical issue don't have availability for 3 weeks!! The lady in the office did apologise, when I told her "doing the MOT first was not agreed with the gentleman on the phone when i booked in" to which she followed that up with "Sometimes he does say things that are not really the way we do things around here and we only tend to deal with exhausts and tyres, so electrical is not our thing!!" What a topsy turvy world we live in The search goes on....
